Kitty Klinic is not able to treat or take in Rabbits that are not fully vaccinated for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease (RHDV2). Please call to schedule your vaccine for your rabbit as soon as you can to prevent delayed treatment. We appreciate your diligence in getting your pet the proper care it needs. The RHDV2 vaccine requires a booster 21 days after the first dose, then there is a two week wait for the antibodies to build in your pet before we can do an exam in clinic. We cannot do any grooming services, exams, hospitalization, or boarding for your rabbit without this complete vaccination schedule. Alternatively, if you have records from another clinic for these vaccines you can send them prior to scheduling so that our doctor can review to make sure they are within compliance. This would allow us to schedule your pet safely and in a timely fashion. If your Rabbit is in medical distress please contact: The Center for Avian and Exotic Medicine in Bothell (open 24 hours) (425) 486-9000 or BluePearl in Lakewood (253) 474-0791 or Evergreen Avian and Exotic (425) 821-6165
